Habit Erect much branched, aromatic annual herb, rarely a short-lived perennial, up to 180 cm high. Stems green, rarely tinged red.
Inflorescence Minute flowers in sessile yellowish clusters or glomerules along the ultimate branches, together forming large branched heads.
