Plant

Fruit/ seed Asymmetrical, neatly beaked capsules, oval-shaped (broader at the chalazal). Seed coat - reticulate network covered by prominent ridges and devoid of any protuberances.

Habit Plants-erect and slender, smooth, simple-stemmed to much-branched and glabrous up to 120 cm high.
Inflorescence solitary in axils, bracts. Pedicelled, Calyx tubular lobes ovate at base with revolute margins, filiform. Corolla white long persisting around the maturing capsule.
