Description
Plant Perennial herbaceous, hairy vines growing 4 to 5 meter in length with milky juice pubscent twiner, endemic to India. Stem very long, twining and much twisted together, angled and winged, tough and brown when old.

Fruit/ seed Capsule with conspicuous enlarged sepals and thickened pedicles. Gloobose, enclosed in the enlarged brittle very imbricate sepals. Seeds round, black one in each cell.
